Overview
In the last year we have seen a tremendous increase in citations related to Quality of Care and cross referenced to Standard of Clinical practice – F282. Many of these deficiencies have resulted in findings of Immediate Jeopardy. This workshop provides “mapping” of the hot spots in the Clinical practice pathway. It provides clues to successful evaluation of the “true Standards of Clinical Practice”. Nationally accepted Standards of Clinical Practice, including Pressure Sores, Continence, Unnecessary Drugs and more will be discussed with the use of foundational tools in assessing resident care. We will assist your facility in taking away the mystique and replacing it with tools to help you develop and maintain compliance in your nursing practice.
Upon completion of this seminar the participant will be able to:
- Define Standards of Care & Standards of Clinical Practice
- Identify the relationship of the knowledge base and factors contributing to the Standards of Clinical Practice
- Determine how to measure your facility current Standards of Clinical Practice
- Apply the Nursing process to improve and support the facility Standards of Clinical practice
- “Take away” Tips to building improvement
