It is time for all of us to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather after a grueling winter and there is no better place or event to do this than the “WHCA 30th Annual Care Classic.” This year’s golf event will again be held at the beautiful “Lake Windsor Golf Club” conveniently located just minutes from the heart of Madison.
Join your colleagues and friends on Monday, July 14, 2008 at this golfer-friendly scramble which enhances the enjoyment of the game, camaraderie, and competition for even novice golfers.
More importantly, the “Care Classic” provides scholarships to enhance the education and skills of long term care employees and families from WHCA facilities throughout the state. Proceeds from the “2007 Care Classic” funded 14 - $500 scholarships and a $1,000 scholarship to UW-Eau Claire Scholarship Fund.
To enable us to continue to provide these scholarships, we must have your participation in this fun and exciting event. Therefore I am asking each facility to solicit an Associate Member to become a hole sponsor and encourage each district to enter at least one foursome to play and in return, receive an automatic $500 scholarship for district distribution.
